zex used nitrous kit $400??

theres a used zex nitrous kit on craigslist for 400 obo.. it says it's only been used for 3 months and it comes with 2 10 lb bottles.. is this a good deal?

i emailed the guy with the $275 kit. i asked him if it was complete and if not what i would need.

but i'm guessing i need a tune to run a 100 shot right?
and also i'll probably need a purge kit and arming switch..

WOT Throttle Switch or a window switch, Purge kit, and a tune would be better, but not completely nessisary. But if this tells you anything, If it were my car, I would get a tune!

i'll look into it more, that kit for 275 is actually in my budget range.. i would just put it on my credit card and my next check would cover it... or i could just go split some firewood for 2 days and i'd be set....

but the thing is though, if my dad knew about me putting nitrous on my car he would flip his shit. for sure.

I sold mine for $400. It was complete down to all hardware listed in the instruction manual that was included. I thought it was a good deal for both of us since it was $570 new. Getting a complete kit plus an extra bottle sounds like a good deal.

Nothing tops being a dad with kids that are car-crazy. My kids were yelling "Hit the nitrous!" all the time. And eventually started asking me to put nitrous on my wife's car...

the ZEX kits do come with a WOT switch but you wire it to your TPS and the computer learns the voltage at WOT.

2 bottles can be a good thing especially if you're lazy and don't monitor bottle pressure faithfully, they can both be hooked up to maintain a safe PSI.

$400 is a nice price. god knows how much I paid for my kit about a year ago.
