warm up power loss

hi , i bought an 03 gt about 6 months ago, and i have noticed that it loses alot of power when it warms up. i know a cooler motor will make more power. i was just wondering if this normal for a mustang? the outside temp dosen't seam to make much of a difference. thanks for any help

i'd go ahead and change the air filter, and if you havent changed the oil since you bought it i'd do that too.

welcome to MM

New spark plugs, fuel filter change, change all fluids (transmission, gear oil, motor oil), k&n air filter, fuel injector cleaner... about all I can think of right off my head... clean out your air intake too with the spray they sell at auto part stores...

oh yeah flush your coolant out real good and replace the antifreeze...

a 180 thermostat would work fine but it won't change anything really...
