well.. this sucks..

alright.. well, tonight i was bored and decided to go to advance auto parts to pick up some odd and end stuff.. in the end.. i believe i created two problems.. i got some colored dome light bulbs and a license plate cover, etc

.. well i removed the cover from the dome light.. i took out the stock 587 or 578 or whatever bulbs and went to replace it with the colored bulb.. well when i did this, on one end of the ballast, just one of the brackets decided it was going to get very loose.. i tried to make a "belt" of electrical tape to tighten the slack and hold it in place so the bulb would light, but that bracket broke off..

well i then tried to engineer a makeshift bracket of aluminum foil but i think i blew the fuse.. how do i tell if i did this and what are the suggestions for me to get this dome light back to working? cuz im no electrician

lol.. like i said, i was bored.. and i was originally looking for some brighter white maybe led bulbs like the really bright ones in my flashlight, but then i was like "hmm.. these red ones are pretty cheap, i wonder what that would look like" and bought it along with the other stuff

i always do shit like that when i am in the autoparts store , just like today, i went in for a new washmitt and came out with a new pack of microfiber towels , some more nxt , some more leather conditioner, and a bunch of air fresheners

next weekend , 15/16th at atlanta motor speedway , 4000+ cars dude , its huge and its a blast , im entering my car..

just a huge car show , they usually have some new car test drives , burnout contest , system contest , swimsuit , hydraulics, drift competition , and a bunch of vendor specials

just replace the unit.

they are cheap.

if you unscrew it you will see that it's just held in by one plug

actually.. i just verified that the fuse is blown grr haha..

and yeah.. weems.. when does nopi start closing down on that saturday? trying to figure out if sunday is my only option

Thats good then, because a fuse is a simple & easy change, unless it keeps blowing. Good luck!
