just go ahead and do it. is there a rule against car maintenance or something? the smoking depends upon how much build up you have in your car.

Then take it off base when you do it.

I did the gass and the oil, but I just don't want to take off the JLT to put it through the TB. It was a pain just to get that thing on there. If I win this new TB off ebay, I'll do it then. LOL

I usually use a can every couple of months as routine maintance.
Pour some in the PVC and little bit in the engine oil and the rest in near empty gas tank. SEAFORM removes water and cleans carbon build up.

The white smoke doesn't last long. Idle your stang for a few to allow it to mix and flow. Then rev it up and watch it smoke. If you let the seaform sit over night, it will produce a longer lasting trail of smoke.

1 can = $7 @ NAPA

It's a great investment. You can't go wrong.

Are you having any driveability issues?
IOW is your car running ok?

If that's the case, leave it alone.

Just my 2 cents..........

You have two of them. First one is easier because it's in the open and the long tube you see in front that comes from the air intake runs right to it. Found center of the top head just above the exhaust header. Second on is same location oppisite side but under the air intake. Everything looks black so it's a bit confussing but it does pop out and can be replaced for under $4 bucks each.

The hose doesn't have clamps or anything, just slides off. Pour just a little bit. Maybe a cap full or so. Then remove the oil fill cap and pour 4-5 cap full and rest in the gas tank to remove that water and clean fuel filter and line.

Bingo nothing to it....faster then washing the stang.

Mine doesn't displace much white smoke anymore but I still enjoy watching it shoot out the pipes.

Sorry for being a noob, but could someone possibly post a pic of an engine compartment with the correct vacuum line pointed to? I have an idea based on putermech's post, but I am still not 100% sure and dont really want to try it unless I am sure :-)

I just popped off one of the black tubes that has vacuum heading into the throttle body and poored it in, piece of cake.
