New Stage 1 Spec clutch, pullies & Front Brakes and Roto

I finally got my car back yesterday and that new clutch is going to take some serious getting used to. The clutch is so light now. I don't even really have to press hard to get it to engage. The issue is there is no real line to feather the clutch. That thing is either on or it's off. I stalled like 5 times on my way home. People behind me were like, "Wy does this guy have this nice Stang if he doesn't know how to drive it? Must not be his car." I started to get used to it a little by the end of the night. It has some chatter but Doug said that should disappear with a little break in time. I haven't really had a chance to get on it since I'm still breaking everything in but when I do shifting will not be an issue. With the MGW and this new clutch and the aluminum flywheel. The shifter is so light and easy to move. I can tell that the pullies feel like they woke it up a little more.

I've heard the stock clutch on the mach 1 is pretty tight...would there be a good alternative to the stock clutch?

I hope you order the right Fidanza flywheel. ON AmericanMuscle.com thier Fidanza flywheel ads say the Bullitt takes a 8 bolt. I wasn't the same kind of clutch and flywheel so they would work as well as possible together so I ordered a 8 bolt Spec flywheel. Turns out the Bullitt has a 6 bolt. AM is supposed to be changing it on thier site, but in the mean time they are giving me shit over reurning thr unused flywheel. They are trying to charge me a 30% restocking fee because they don't normallly take back flywheels and the amount they paid for the orginal S&H. I still have to call them again because the flywheel is unopened. Apparently that makes a difference.

What about the clutch tho? What's the difference in the spec 1,2,3 clutches?

The amount of torque they can hold without breaking. The higher the stage the more aggressive the clutch.

Nothing wrong with a tight clutch. My Bullitt had a tight clutch until I burned it up. You might want to actually get the car first and see how you like it before you start planning changes like that.
