Just wonderin what everyone take is on these. They seem to be in the class of the BF Goodrich KDs but at about half the price! So lets here it.

I haven't but I met a kid with them on his Stang and he said he liked them before he burned all the tread off of them. His Stang was still new to him so he was still going through the 'burn out at every green light' phase. Go to TireRack.com and look at General Exclaim UHPs. I have those on my car now. A great handling tire on wet or dry surfaces. If you compare the two it out performs the BF Goodrich KDs and it's like $50-$60 less.

I want a good all-around handling tire, autocross and drag. I also want somethin driveable in the rain. the falkens seem to be better in the rain than the BFGs and from reveiws alot quieter.

Ive read alot about the General Exclaim but am hesitant the tread design doesnt look like it would hold up that well under hard cornering or luanches.

The Falkens have a lot of positive area and large tread blocks similar to drag radials so I want to think theyll be pretty good. Has anyone used them at the track?

Well like I said I have the Generals now. They are great rain or shine and they get good grip when I race. I've never launched above 3500 RPMs or so so above that I don't kno how they do. They were on the car since I had them and have handles well through everything I put them through since I bought the car.
