hid help

i posted this in the electronic forum but id kind of like to get this solved asap,

So I bought an hid kit a long time ago, it was some asian company, so the passenger side started to flicker about a month after i got it, and then it eventually would either a) not turn on or b) turn on and off, until it just stopped working, checked the connections and the power stopped at the ballast so im guessing it was a blown ballast, anyways, i bought a new one from american muscle and its doing the exact same thing except on the drivers side now, i emailed them and all they told me were to check the connections, which i did several times over. anyone have this problem?

hmmmm.... did you buy a whole new kit from Americanmuscle or did you just by a new ballast? That is really strange that it switched lights. sounds like its shorting off somewere.... are your connections covered (no wire exposed)?

yes the connections are covered, the battery acid ate away at the rubber around one of the cords becuase of the lack of room our cars give us, but i moved it around and it didnt short out anywhere.
