Built 2v vs 4v

This is the question of the day .... everyday

anyway (no pun intended) I would like to hear opinions and any numbers if available to weigh the pros and cons of a built 4v vs built 2v in a turbo charged application... what are the limits of each? are there any real differences that can be solved with a few more pounds of boost?

Consider A HCI 2v, stage 3 heads and blower cam vs pretty much stock 4v heads with new springs and valves
Forged everything on both accounts - so they both can spin 8k rpm, and lets say the power goal is 700 rwhp on BOTH cars, so BOTH cars are tuned to 700 rwhp... i dont know what the torque differences would be if any (you can explain your theory)

Now also consider this question will all else being equal - both cars running t-56's or what have you, both cars with 3.73 gears, same suspensions - only difference being the motor type 4v vs 2v... what is the outcome?
4V>2v?
2v>4v?
Drivers race?

please discuss

i will say the 4v becasue its got a different power band and where it makes power. its gets more air sooner therefor should make pwoer sooner. so if all else being equal, the 4v should win simply becasue of the way and rpm the power is made. more air equals better power

i think compared to stock it will be quiet close, with the cobra squeekin ahead, but once you mod those bad boys, i think the comparision is over. I mean in the 1/4 its gonna be a drivers race for sure but on highway rolls i think your right, the 2v is toast

this is interestin, i would think that you could get the 4v to those power levels wit less work. How much does a stage 3 valve job run? It would prolly be more cost effective to use a 4v. You can get anythin you want from either its just how much do you want to spend!
