tire sidewall question

Okay so the rims i have are 17x10.5 bullits and i have 315/35 series on them.

I want a taller side wall, so i can get a better launch. Does anyone know if some one makes a 315/xx R17 series tire that will have a taller sidewall.

I have considered getting a set of smaller rims so i know i could get taller sidewalls, but i would prefer using the same rims. What is the smallest i can get with stock rotors and calipers. And one more question does anyone know if they make bullits that small.

A lot of racers (Im NOT one of them, I live in the north) use 15" wheels with tires youre talking about, smaller wheels turn faster. I dont have any advice on tires though.

i'm trying to find out if anyone knows if a tire company makes a tire with a taller sidewall than 30 series and hopefully still 315's.

I know i can get smaller rims and then would probabbly get drag lites, but i really like the look of my bullets but i just want more sidewall.

yeah thats what i was thinking that you could only get 315/35 for 10.5x17 rims but i had to see if ANYONE had seen diff cause i really like my DD bullits.

I guess i'll just have to get a set of 15" draglites, just wanted to keep the bullits

oh and by the way it is a DD so i'm not looking for wrinkle wall size side walls just like a 315/50 series or something.

yeah i know that and i will for the track, but i was just hoping i could get a tire with a taller sidewall with my current rim 10.5x17 or if they made a 10.5x15" bullit rim so it would still match the front ones i would do that.
