mystery vacuum hose

I'm putting temporary engine in my car...long story short; old engine dead, putting motor from bone yard in.

Almost done with the install, but just came across a vacuum hose that i cant figure out where it goes. Its on the passenger side near the firewall, you will see three hoses hooked up to each other, one is red...well the one i cant figure out is the long black hose...its long enough to go to the front of the engine. Any clue as to where this hose goes? there are 2 pictures attached, sorry they are kinda blury. Thanks for your help.

I think it may go to the A/C it could be the compresser cut off when you go to pass and there is a large change in manifold pressure

err sorry bypass valve, or whatever its called for supercharger. I had the car supercharged till i blew the engine...going with a stock configuration for now till i figure exactly what caused the motor to blow.

HAHA i wish i could narrow it down to just that...there are so many darn variables when it comes to this engine. The more and more i think about it, the more it points to me over heating the engine.

On a road trip, supercharger idler pulley siezed on me...saw the battery light come on but thought it might clear....never checked the engine temp...once i saw steam, i pulled over...well it was enough heat to boil my radiator over. Put the car in a "stock" mode, only got 15 mpg on the highway (never had that problem before) problems got worse when i got back, finally tore the engine apart to find major problems.
