ahhh water problem?

so like every day it rains here in naples florida, i went on my break from work and drove to a restaurant with some friends and the parking lot was at least 2 feet deep full of water i went through it slowly and after 2mins my car stalls, i get a little worried and turn it on, a minute later it stalls again... now im freaking out and just when i go to park it, it stalls again... i leave it alone for about 30-45mins later and turn it on and wait, it idled fine and the rpms dropped and went back up(weird) and then it continued to idle fine... i got off work and drove home and everything felt fine and it drove like it always did... i have short ram intake not cai so not water could of gotten in the intake, any ideas why it stalled? i no it had to been the water but how? thanks

2 feet of water will make your car bog regardless if the intake it touching it or not.

your motor it self was still chillen in the water.

Your exhaust probably filled up with water. Been there. Done it. After you blow the water out of your mufflers the car should run fine.

Couldn't have done the carpet any good. I had a friend that stuck his mother's car in a river once. I don't think they ever got the smell out of the carpets.
