I need opinions on what to do next.

Ok..heres my dilema. My mods are in my sig, and I cant decide what to do next. Im doing gears next summer, but have been told I need the tune now. Plus, I would already have the handheld to correct my speedo and everything for the new gears. I'll break it down as to what I'm trying to decide between...

Option #1. The tune. This consists of a dyno tune at Dynotune Motorsports using an SCT Xcal II handheld, costing $575 including tuner.

Option #2. Cosmetic, which would be: 03/04 chrome Cobra wheels, Ford C Springs, 15% window tint, 03/04 Cobra front bumper, SS Mustang inserts for rear bumper.

I'm really leaning toward option 2 just b/c I'm going to do gears next summer and will need to re-tune or w/e to correct for them. Please help me decide and give me some opinions...

IMO you don't have enough mods to really benefit from a tune. I'd either save more to get some better power adders or do the cosmetic stuff. But I never liked cars that look fast but don't have the balls to back it up. Just my .02

with what you have a tune isn't necessary and i am a believer of not buying "all show, no go" parts. I have done no cosmetic stuff to my car.

So, i would say get some more go fast mods put on the thing

I would go get the tune ASAP. It will imporove shifting and power especially with the Headers and RAI. You will be keeping the SCT tuner after the Dyno soo you will be able to make tweaks here and there. Changing tire size and gear ration wil be really easy and you will NOT need to go back to the tuners shop to do it. Then you can have some $$$ left over to do somekinda appearence mods.

Just my $.25

i couldn't have said it any better, ESPECIALLY with u wanting to put a terminator front bumper on it. make that thing fast before u put any cobra body parts on it.

It's not worth it to spend the money on the tune yet. If you just buy a handheld tuner that should be enough for now. Make the car look like something you'd be proud to drive in. I see alot of trailer park specials with the Half primer half some other color cars, but thousands of dollars worth of engine mods. That's stupid IMO. They usually wind up selling it before they can make it look good anyway.

Here they are. One of them is a 0-90 inside, one is 0-60 inside, and the last is a couple drive by/revs.

Thats ok though bro, they still sound badass, I just like the deeper tone better thats all. I love how they sound with Bassani headers too, and thankfully, Bassani sells only Shorty & Mid length headers.
