chin spoiler

Hey guys I have my chin spoiler sitting in my front room. I havent put it on yet because its black, and my car is silver. It will look a lot better and a lot more clean if I paint it silver.

Should I get the factory paint from Ford?
Not sure...I am just looking for some ideas/opinions

Thanks

Painting it will make it look stupid over time. The paint will not bond with that material. It will flake quickly. Leave it black.

Leave it black. My car is silver and I think mine looks good with the black chin spoiler. Also if you paint it then it will chip whenever you scrape it on something.

Leave it black, it's not worth taking the time to paint imo. And besides, the black sets it off nicely.

Here is what it looks like painted. And to be honest, it looks like shit imo. The black adds a distinct look to the car, no matter what color your car is.

Haha...after seeing the pictures of it on the silver stang (bleh) yall have changed my thoughts and i will keep it black! black ftw!

So I will probably put it on tomorrow right before the sun goes down. I ordered it from Americanmuscle.com... Im pretty sure its a straight forward install but do I need extra bolts or anything?

I don't have one yet, but people say to use wing nuts instead of the given fasteners. I hear the fasteners will fall of and such...

You made the right choice man, because painting it looks shitty. Everything you need comes with it, but for added safety wing-nuts are recommended, to better assure yourself that the spoiler won't fall off.
