Drag Radials

Im going to be buying some drag radials soon, but I am undecided between the BFG's or the Micky T's. Ive seen the Mikcy's at the track and they look like they launch pretty hard. What do you guys think is the better tire?

i have the BFG's right now and like them alot. i am going to get the Mickey T's the next time around just so I can see which one's work better for me.

oh, and i got one hell of a deal on the bfg's, so that helped in my decision

If your looking for DR wit some life i read the nitto 555s get about 15k under normal driving. Im plainin on gettin a set, the tread design should provide fairly good wet traction oppossed to other DOT DR with their groove down the middle.

Is that a typo or are you high? The m/t's will last much longer than 1k miles! Try closer to 10k depending on how much you do burn outs, longer if you don't spin them all the time. I love my Mickeys and I recommend them to anyone looking into new tires. Just be extra carefull in the rain because they will make you hydroplane if you're acting goofy in water!

if you want them to last longer then ya go with nittos but if you want real traction go with M/t

as far as traction goes best to worst
M/t
BFG
Nitto

and reverse order for lasting time

In wet weather though, i'd say the Nitto's & BFG's would be a better choice for traction IMO.

Wow, that sucks for you! I had my last set for a little over 9k and there was probably another 1k or so left on them before I got the bigger wheels... I made it to the track pretty regularly on that set also, probably something like 4-5 times a month!

How do the drag radials handle in the corner when fully inflated? I dont plan in takin them to any road courses but i dont want to have to to limp around the corners either. Im thinkin bout gettin the nittos to use on my daily.
