I did great actually. It took less time then I thought it would, and the old shifter popped out very easily. It took about 20-25 minutes tops. It is awsome, shifts smooth, looks & feels great. 10/10 imo.
It will get better as it brakes in.

Yeah you've had it n for like a day or two. I shift my car with like two fingers. It becomes very easy to move over time.

dude, the install is cake. directions are easy to follow, and all you need is some basic hand tools and a tube of RTV...

what year Mustang was it on? i believe on the 05 and up, yes, you have to get under the car, but if this is for the 01 you have listed under your SN, you don't have to. the entire install is done from inside the car...

Well, I actually ended up having the guy who sold me his mach install my MGW for me before I bought the car I am glad I didn't have to do it. Now I'm a bit concerned because the shifter seems to be loose a bit, and its not the handle.

absolutely. if you can't install the shifter yourself, you might've bought the wrong car lol...

the JLT install was probably a bigger PITA than the shifter will be...

Haha yeah seriously. Unless it's hotter than hell out and you're in the car in the heat, sitting there, roasting while installing the shifter.
