MGW Short Throw Shifter???

Well my MGW shifter arrived around 9:00 this morning, and I plan on installing it today. So I was wondering if there is anything in particular that I need to know before installing it????

the MGW is less notchy of a shifter.
it also has a shorter throw and more adjustment.

the hardest thing is getting the old shifter off. Mine was on there so hard that i actually lifted the car up, put wood blocks under the shifter and then lower the car down and it still took a few seconds for it to break loose. It was rediculous.
