here is the deal!!!

Ok i have a chance to buy a fully built 04 cobra motor that will withstand 900 hp. complete motor including a/c alt everything. with an F1A s/c kit including innercooler etc. with a fully built t56 trans with a spec stage 3 clutch for 8grand. should i do it? It has all been recently built. also. what all would i need to put it in my 02 gt? Just computer? It also has an 8rib pulley set up. I should have no problem pushin over 600rwhp with it... so... should i do it cuz 8grand is a lot of money that i would have to borrow against my 73stang cuz its paid off. and i owe 12k on my gt

yeah buy it, you should have no problem making 1000 hp with that setup. youll need a cobra wirirng harness as well as the computer, the rest should all bolt up nicely, maybe a different support under the tranny

Do whatever makes your heart content. It is a hell of a deal, but i'm in the same boat, trying to get loans for vehicles paid off.

i mean.... i could go from running 13s to 9s with a build rear end all in like a month or two. and how many people would expect just any old regular bullit gt to run 9s? i have personally seen this setup outrun an 06 ninja zx10. from a dig and the car started pulling on the bike at 190

Does it come with an intake? I have more than that in my 2v set up. Including Sc's intercoolers and support mods.

Sounds like a once in a life time deal to me. If you think you can swing the payments for the car and all the part and labor you may need to get the job done, I say go for it. You gotta love the sleeper GTs!

The only way that would ruin his credit is if he didn't pay it. If you know what credit reporting agencies look for credit is actually pretty easy to rebuild. Most people think that all they look for is if you make your payments on time. That doesn't improve your credit!

I'm not the oldest or the youngest guy on these forums, but I would advise you not to put that on a loan. (just my opinion) Mainly b/c if something happens to the car, not only are you out the parts, but you need to still pay for it every month.

I bought my car with 0 down... All the parts I put on it I paid cash for. When I totalled it, yeah I was out almost 10,000, but I don't owe anyone any money. The cars paid off and I still have money in the bank. Makes it seem a little better I guess.

If you re-read his posts he said he is borrowing against a car he is selling. When the car sells he can pay off the loan. He will not owe anything.

What kind of Super charger is that? If its outrunning a bike it must be at 700+ hp. That is nuts acceleration. I personally would make it a Twin Turbo with a forged bottom end. But a SuperCharger will work well too. Id say go for it. If you are selling a car anyway, just do it. Pay it off, make some credit, get a crazy set up and Blow the Skirts off of the chicks on the side lines.

That is one hell of a deal. Just trying to buy a built 03/04 Cobra engine by itself will cost that much let alone getting the T56 and supercharger kit. Hell I'd get it if I had the chance. Oh and if you did put that bad boy iun there be prepared to get kicked off any dragstrip you drive it to since you don't have a rollcage.
