what general maintenance can i do to prep my car for the track.

just make sure everything is clean and not leaking.

lower your tire pressure in the back a bit/

So like my air filter and what not and is there a way to clean spark plugs?

plug wires
oil
oil filter
air filter
transmission flush
top off your fluids
maybe a coolant flush
sea foam it.

and you should be good to go.

im running 315/35/17 sumitomos at the moment.but i have 285/45/18 perellis sitting in th e garage what should i run with at the track

ordinarily i cant get the perellis to hook up until 3rd gear.but im wondering if i heat them up if they would stick.my 315 stick great.its just that i dont want to burn those up if i dont have to

get ya some used cheap full slicks on dookie rims...and keep ya good tires for the street...and unhook your front sway bar..it'll help the weight transfer better with the slicks...and if ya want it to bit hard outta the hole...drop ya psi in them slicks down to 10...10 is the magic number...ive went as low as 6psi...but it gets a lil squrrly on the big end...

if ya running street tires @ the drag strip.avoid going into the water box if ya can...some tracks you got to drive through it...if ya do just clean ya tires off...1sec. burnout is all ya need to do with street tires...if ya get'em hot they'll be slicker than hell...ride ya clutch out of the hole...get that down pat...it'll work for ya

i changed all my fluids.everything is now Royal Purple.engine,trans and rear end all changed.im gonna sea foam it this weekend.
