need help pulleys

i was changing the pulleys, and on this pulley when i was putting it back in i noticed it got a little easier and it wasnt all the way in so i was taking it back out and the casting was broke, but it looks like the peice can be pulled out and put another one back in, any suggestions on what to do?

theres threads in the broke off peice and threads in the housing, i ordered a new timing chain cover, but if you can just replace that peice it would be easier

You should be able to use an ease-out to get the rest of the threads out of it...

Thats what you are saying right?

The bolt broke off in there as well?

If so use an ease out to get the rest of the bolt out then get another bolt and use the piece of the timing cover as a spacer...

If that dosent work the new timing cover might have to be done...

the blot didnt break off, the casting that the bolt screws in to broke off, i was wondering if that one peice was replaceable with out having to get a new timing cover, i was wondering if i could just buy the peice that broke off or if i have to just get a new timing cover

a shop may be able to weld that back on or you may need a whole new cover
