It's Hedmans! And I don't want them man. I'm looking to see if Bassani has any, or i'll just go with JBA.

I know they cost a bit, but that don't bother me at this point. I just wanna know if they carry Shorty's for the 99-04 4.6 2V's.

Anyone know the real gain on mid's? I already have their catted xpipe and mufflers so mids would just drop in with the same xpipe?

I hate to say it but if you want to see real power gains LT's are the only way to go. They did some research on shorty headers awhile back in an article I read and shorty's were only pulling 4 more HP to the wheels and like 8 pound feet of torque. I've never used them so I wouldn't know the seat of the pants difference but if you're going to spend the money on headers you might as well go LT's so you know will not be dissapointed...

I haven't found any numbers either. I am getting Bassani mid lengths for my Bassani X pipe too. They don't have the same clearance issues as LT headers. ACMillr had tuned BBK shorties on his car and was making like 3-4 HP less than the reported gains of LT headers.

The shorties are the same ammount of trouble to put on as longtubes or mid-lengths...So personally I think shorties are a waste...

I really dont know anyone that runs the mid-lngths in my area so I really cant give you a seat of the pants feel on them...

I however loved my longtubes even when I was N/A...

LT's will not pass for emissions, and I got an wxhaust set-up, so all opinions about LT's are invalid. Stop bragging them up, unless you guys are gonna pay for them, a new exhaust set-up since I already have one, and figure a way to pass emissions.
