Different Ends

hey guys, what a surprise.. reset has a stupid question.

What exactly do you guys mean when you talk about- front end, rear end, bottom end.. (am i missing any other "ends"?)? What parts of the car are those referring to?

Depends on how it was used. There is the obvious front end of the car and the rear end of the car. If someone say that a H pipe gains torque on the front end they are talking about early in the RPM range. X pipe gaining more HP on the rear end would mean they give more HP higher in the RPM band. The bottom end always refers to the bottom end of the engine.
