Introducing a Supercharger to a Boost Guage

My 2001 GT has an instrument cluster from a wrecked 03 Cobra, everything works except obviously the boost guage, since theres no supercharger. Im a few months away from getting my Kenne Bell twin screw, I already plan on switching to synthetic oil and obviously premium fuel but I know that simply connecting the supercharger wont mean Ill be able to read the boost on the instrument panel's dead boost guage. I know this requires a computer reflash but I need to know if I can do this with a handheld tuner or if it has to be done professionally...Can anyone help with that? Im gonna have the car dyno tuned once I put the supercharger on should I just let them do it?
