it's a fair deal depending on a car fax report and pics.

Who are you buying it from? Dealer or private? If it checks out its a good deal.

if its a dealer go for it if not then i would have him go take a look at the car and see if he could get a test ride

I got mine for 11.5 with 43k and it is a clean car and that was a deal so 9gs for a car with 50k seems alittle too low

Sounds like a good deal, but test drive it first, and try to get a Carfax report.

I bought my 2004 GT 5 speed with 14,000 miles for 15K 3 months ago from a Dealer. I looked at probably ten 1999 thru 2004 GTs. I found one 99 for 9K with 35K on the clock and I thought that was one of the better deals I looked at. Hope this helps

The good thing is they dont hold their value, and nothing affects the price like mileage so its easy to spot the morons trying to get back money they've put into the car. Kelley Blue Book will tell you that $8000 - $9500 is a good price depending on condition of the paint, brakes, tires, overall mechanical shape...deduct small amounts from the price based on minor things you may find imperfect about it...and DONT buy his exhaust for him, it comes with the car it wasnt you who told him to pay $350 for Flowmasters. I sold a 96 GT 3 years ago with 56,000 miles on it for $7500, thats actually $500 more than the maximum that Kelley said Id get, but those cars were garbage...I think $9K is good for this car.

i agree with u that u shouldn't allow the previous owner to have u put the money back in his pocket that he spent on the car, but if u have a 300rwhp mustang, i think the value of the car should be adjusted accordingly

Sounds like a good deal as long as everything is straight.

Give the car a good once over. Remember all the threads you've read on here and all the things people complain about breaking. Be sure to check those things out first. If possible get it on a lift to check for undercarriage rust. If it all checks out that price seems fair to me. My '01 Bullitt had like 63,xxx miles and I got it for $13,900.
