if so then check your brake fluid

im pretty sure mine came on once and a while after hard braking,

i had a problem like that in my Explorer. the e brake light would come on during braking and turns. checked the fluid level in the reservoir and it was a little low. filled it with some DOT3 and the problem went away.

check your pads as well, they could be getting a little thin which could be why your fluid level is low.
