2002 Stock Mustang....12.62 Quarter Mile ET

A customer of mine just went to the track this weekend. His car is completely stock but I did sell him a Cold Fusion Nitrous Kit. It has a 125 shot in it. This car is completely stock with power everything. He has a system in it and no weight taken out of the car. This is his daily driver car. He ran an impressive 12.62@109.89mph. Not to bad for just having a single nozzle wet kit. Let me know what you think. I thought it was really good.

Thanks,
Chad

He had to have had slicks or some good drag radials too.

I think he did have some MT drag radials....he lives in KY. so I am not too sure. When I ment stock I mean not gear or underdrive pullies or CAI type deal....Sorry, I was not trying to mislead anyone. I just thought that was impressive for a car like that. He has a system and everything in it. The kit is all hidden really well so he is fooling a lot of people in his home town....LOL....Just thought I would share!!!

Thanks,
Chad

It would be fun to take a completely bone stock looking car to the track and run 2 seconds quicker He could make some money with that car at the track...

i have a 125 shot and alot of bolt ons and im only trapping 111 so i think his car responded very well considering he has no supporting mods to let the car breath better especially with the nitrous.

Yes I thought so too....that is why I was so impressed. I really like the cold fusion nitrous kits. I know another guy with the same situation with a 2004 GT and a NOS kit went 12.80 to 13.00's at only 106 to 107 mph. Basically same cars just different kits. Both automatic cars.

Thanks,
Chad

i have an 03.....5 speed, 3.90 gears, H-pipe with flows, and a 125 shot.....i run on dunlop 245/45/17 street tires and i run 8.40's consistently in the 1/8 mile....what does that go to in the 1/4 mile....and i think its crazy that i can beat a buddy of mine on the street who runs 8.20's consistently at the track...he whoops me at the track, but when we play around at home , i get him by 1/2 a car sometimes and dead even sometimes...

after entering my times at that website..it says that i would run a 13.00 to 13.10 1/4 mile....if that is true, then there is no way that the stock mustang with a 125 shot is going to run 12.62....i can hang with a stock 2003 cobra at the track and on the street...well 1/8 mile track...never run more that that on the street either....but that guy may have a freak car

I seen him run at the track before he put the kit on and it went bottom 14's. I did not see him run at the track when he got it on but my buddy who installed it for him went. He is the one who told me what it ran. My buddy is not the type to lie. You are right though it could be one of those freak cars. I had one of those and I put 250hp wet plate kit on it on a stock bottom end foxbody car. It ran for a long time like that. Car ran high tens EFI with some off the shelf bolt ons....Heads, intake and some other stuff. Car was full weight with cage. It still had everything from the factory except air conditioning. Other then that it had power steering and everything. Really fun street car....LOL....Now I want another street car....LOL

Thanks,
Chad

hey 03, its very possible. seems like someone needs the driver mod. and if your keeping up with 03-04 cobras, then they are terrible drivers! you should be going atleast low 12 on that combo that you have. now a completely stock cobra should run around 12.7-8 with a good driver, so you may be outrunning them!

i am glad i read this before coming in here and making an ass out of myself. the subject threw me off. i was going to throw a big BS flag on this until i saw it was a nitrous car... awesome time though!!

alot of people called BS on my 12.59 n/a. with a few bolt-ons, heads, cams, BFG DR's, and stock suspension... but i do have the video to prove it...

no car is going to be identical, regardless of whether or not they have the same setup.....
