stupid idea? front and rear bumper

since the old muscle cars had chrome front and rear bumpers, would this look gay if the front and rear bumpers on ours were painted chrome? they really dont look like the old ones so it might be. never seen it though

Is there paint thats good enough to pass as chrome? It would probably still look like a plastic bumper painted silver.

I am a big fan of the chrome bumpers of the past...

they do make a "chrome" spray paint. it looks chrome for about a day then turns to silver

there is a special paint mixed with a certain acid to create a chrome effect. It does last, but it would be a pita to take care of.

You could do what this guy did. Get a Mustang made out of real silver like his Audi. God, I love his house. It looks like a hotel. LOL Look through the pics.

Body kit is ass-ugly, paint is nice its a Miami look if you live in Hoboken, NJ with an armpit house and furniture on your front lawn it doesnt work.
