Procharger Questions

Has anyone here upgraded their P1 to the D1? I heard Procharger has a trade-in type program, is this true? If so how much is the upgrade and how much difference should I expect? Also I read that Prochargers bypass valves are adjustable? Why and how would you adjust them?

you would need to adjust it if you are getting compressor surge between shifts. if you are it's not opening quick enough. also if you aren't making full boost it might not be holding shut

you should be okay. if it's not leaking at idle and you're building boost fine I would leave it alone

you send them your blower and they will upgrade the internals. its around 12-1400ish. the p1 and d1 have the same case. you should gain 5lbs of boost using the same pulley you have on it now.

you send procharger your head unit and something like $1500-2000 and they wilkl send you a D1 headunit. all the inlet and outlet sizes should be the same. it's been almost 2 yrs since i was gonna send mine in and i can't remember exactly how much it was you have to send in. but it's something around $1500

i called thema few months ago and they said 1400. about 6-8 m,onths ago it was around 1200. they said turn around time would be about a week but of course that jusrt depends at the current workload they have. its not a bad deal for the boost you will gain
