Mods For 1999 Cobra
Im new to this website. I wanted to know what would be a good upgrade for my 1999 cobra ( It has the flowmaster, hypertech Programmer and some radials tires for the stock rims in the back). I want to make it at least 12s or would it be better if i saved to get a supercharger.(does anyone know a good shop in nevada)

There are lots of things you could do, but a Supercharger will definatly get you there the fastest.

just to get into the high 12's is not hard. I am in the 12's with gears, a tons of suspensionw work, jlt intake, slicks, full exhaust, and a pro 5.0 shifter. With a blower you will not problem getting into the 11's

Not if you're putting a stronger engine in with fewer miles. To someone who doesn't know the difference between forged internals and not it might, but then you just explain to them that it is a stronger, more durable engine. Of course KBB or a dealership might see it completely different, but it makes sense to me that the value would go up if you put something better in it. And if the dealership does offer you less then screw them and sell it on your own. You won't have a hard time finding someone to buy a Cobra with a beefed up engine.

how deep in the 12.s you want? gears, cai, header back is good for 12.8 maybe lower depending on driver.

the mach 1 has bigger gears forge internal(standard) solid axle which cobra doesnt have and a mach 1 wont leave the cobra just be a lit bit faster.

no, maunal machs have just a forged crank in the manuals. the rods and pistons are still powdered and hyper.
