UPR K=Member fitment issues? Dammit!

I just bought a UPR K member kit. First they forgot my A-rm bushings.

But when I went to install the K-member It wouldn't fit. There was like a 2-3" gap on each side. It was hitting the motor mounts before coming up and meeting flush against the frame. I went a head and reinstalled the stocker which went right back on.

Has any one else had this problem with the UPR K-member? Is there something I'm missing?

Maybe the UPR just makes the engine set higher in the engine bay?

Well they are sending me another one. It has to be something wrong with it. The stocker goes on and off like nothing,

The alignment pegs are hitting an inch above above the alignment holes on both sides of the k-member. You can see where they make contact.

i had the same problem with that kit but i thought my problem was the energy suspension mounts because i did them at the same time but after a little prying, shaking and cussing it dropped right in its jus a very tight fit i think the alignment holes on there kits a jus a hair off..but good luck man

Well I got that sob in there! Yippee. I turned the header collector flange on the drivers side which gave me almost a inch of extra clearance to jack it up. Then I ground down the motor mount alignment peg a little and it went in. So I'll just send back the new one coming tomorrow.

There's a little bit of my blood on it now, but at least the damn thing is in.

I had to grind my alignment tabs off my motor mounts as well and it went right up in there,But you better do a little measuring because the UPR Kmembers dont sit straight and your motor sits crooked! Its a simple fix, just elongate the upper mounting holes so you can move each side of the Kmember back and forth to correct the issue. I think what happens is when they powder coat the Kmembers the heat used to bake the powdercoating on distorts the kmembers. Just a thought.
