Overheated
My 2003 Mach overheated last night as I wasn't paying attention to my A-Pillar gauges. What brought the overheating to my attention was a significant Detonation sound as though I dropped a rod. Basically it sounded like marbles in the engine. The engine stalled and I had to have it towed to a Ford Dealer. The car only has 16,000 miles. It turned out to be a heater hose.
Upon the car cooling down the marble sound diminished significantly. Question: Do you think any damage was done to the internal workings of the engine? What should I be listening and looking for? Thanks all......
