RPM stuck at 2500 RPM?

I installed a "Professional Products" 75mm throttle body and upper intake plenum and when I shift gears or push in the clutch the car revs at 200-2500 rpm for like 20 seconds and then goes down to 1000 and idles.. I checked the throttle plate and all that good stuff and nothing seems to stick WTF? Think I need a tune? Ideas, suggestions?

it's sticking.

I believe Casper just had the same issue with this throttle body.

so is it just a cheap throttle body? I mean I guess it's not jacking up anything do I need to just deal with it or is there anything I can do to fix it?

yes it's a cheap TB.

it's not really hurting anything but your mpg when it's stuck.

you could try messing with the throttle plate I guess.

BBK is made by Pro Products. Wake up people! Trick Flow, Dragon, C&L, all cut by the same factory. Just a word, I love my TB and it's a professional products TB 75mm. You can try and play with the spring or as it's stated in the box/instructions, you might need to re-adjust the butterfly nut. It can happen to accufab as well.

Damn, why did you have to post that?!!!! Now I can confirm that my damn leak it's coming from a damn hole in one of the collector tubes! FK BBK! It looks like a little indent in one of the collector tubes, but now I have to go back and test. When I did sea foam last week, it was smoking more from the front left side than through the actual rear left pipe, that's how bad my leak is.
