starter HELP!!!!!

this might be a dumb question but i am trying to
get my starter out of my car and just wondering if
there is two or three bolts on the starter.
i think there is a bolt at the top but it is hard for me
to get to it.i took out the two bottom ones and they are 13mm
bolts.
any suggestions?

I had to get a 7" extension, then a knuckle so it can pivot and get that weird angle you need . Then a deep socket, and it was still a bitch but gets the job done.. Good Luck.

a long extension works great. One thats just a hair longer than the starter works. If you need to you can add in a swivel joint to get it at a better angle.

Most guys dont put that 3rd screw back in . They havent had any problems. But thats up to you.

Its about as bad as the PS pump removal.

i used a 24" extension a knuckle then another shorter extension and went from the front through the k-member and to the bolt, alot more extension but more straight on and more knuckle room..first time i left the 3rd bolt out worked fine for a while but the center bolt backed out n had problems just fight it n put it back in IMO
