i called comp and they didn't recommended 270s on stock bottom end.

you can use them just make sure they are degreed right to avoid ptv issues

You can hand notch your pistons if you have the heads off.

More than likly i will be porting my heads when i do cams so how far exactly do you need to go it the piston when you notch it and do you have any pics of notched pistons.

With the stock pistons, you just have to cut a little out of the "rim" around the edge of the piston. You only need to take about .125" or so.
