the price for cams is actually pretty reasonable... b/t 380-580 depending on the brand (you get wat you pay for). But installation is gonna MURDER your bank brotha. Looking at around 1,000-1,500. Just read up and do em your self if your confident enough.

I'm being a hypocrit though b/c i'm not to the stage where i want to be taking my engine apart lol. so.... to me i would make good friends with a guy that knows his engine stuff, and have him help you, pay or not.

also... if you're doing cams and you can find someone that will help you do it themselves, go ahead any buy heads, its most def worth it.

Actually, PM AcMiller about that. Thats his speciality and if you're willing to drive down to tampa, he'll hook you up real good with a cam & head with an install. He's stuff is top notch.

dont expect a huge lope difference with cams for our cars.. which will work to your benefit... because if someone is not really listening for it, they will never know you anything stage 2 or smaller

VT & Comp are both good places to check for Heads & Cams. Also check in with AC, but he might be busy.

+1, i have cams in my car and you can't even really tell. i get a lobe sound only when it idles at certain rpm's.

ask chrisj, he has heard it and it is a great sleeper. 45 hp from the cams and it sounds stock.

vt stage 2 gives a nice lope, but you need new springs and should get headwork

damn those do hit hard

for the record... i wasnt implying that you CANT tell a difference, but that cams in our cars arent going to sound as drastic as say going from stock to a cam swap in a F-Body... its usually a dead give away when someone has done a cam swap in them
