I found a set of cobra heads on ebay yesterday and had the same question. I guess all in all you're looking at some 3K or so to do the swap.... You need the fuel rails, injectors, intake with it's plenum and all the shit, headers... This is just a scratch on the surface....

youll have to have your block drilled and tapped for a few extra timing things that are different on the cobra, youll need timing cover and a bunch of other shit. easier just to buy a complete cobra motor and swap in.

1+ why do you want so many more parts, KISS keep is simple stupid. Get a set of good SOHC heads and a good cam, some times more is less, and less is more!

Good luck finding a 5.4L DOHC engine. 5.4L SOHC engines are easy to find, but I believe the DOHC only came in the Cobra R or the Ford GT.
