What would be the point? Buy a shift kit, 4.10 gears and get a tuner. With the right additional mods you will out run most of the 5 speeds you come across.

With an auto you should have gone with 4.10s whether you planned to go FI or not. Your car will shifter faster than you ever will. At this point IMO switching to a 5 speed would be a waste of money. If you make that a full bolt on car it should be able to take a 5 speed GT with the same or close to the same mods. Autos are perfect for the track if you know how to launch it.

a friend of mine has a 99gt with pretty much the same mods as i got and it is a very close race. he can launch a lot better than i can on street tires, i do have a little more on the top end. but then again i have a couple things he dont.
