Getting a High Mileage Mustang Ready for Winter
So far Ive had my 2001 GT for 3 years without a problem, its gone thru two NY winters without stalling but the engine has 112,000 miles on it now, everything is stock and Im a little worried about the car going thru another cold winter without some help. What Im planning on doing is getting an Optima battery, new spark plugs, a new starter, a better CAI and a better engine intake. Any advice?

There shouldnt be any problems with the car over winter I woud get a new battery like you are doesnt need to be an optima unless you prefer to New spark plugs and thats it you shouldnt need a new starter or intakes or anything else unless you want to upgrade them anyway

I live down south so we dont really get harsh winters but before every season change I do a full tune-up , so you might want to start there...
