the Bullitts had 2 valve heads just like the GT's. they had a different intake manifold and t/b, not sure what else under the hood. they were only rated at 5 HP more than GT's of the same year. Bullitts also had a different suspension than GT's, 3/4 inch lower than a GT, Tokico struts and shocks, bigger swaybars.

Really the only differences is what he said but they are just more of a collector item than anything else there isnt much of a difference bettween them and the GT except the body kit and color and suspension

Go to http://www.ukbullitt.org/ and click on Bullitt info, and they did not come with stripes.

05 & up have 3V heads, Cobras & Mach 1's have 4V heads, and the rest of the GT's & Bullitts have 2V heads.

The C-pillars and quarter panel molding have been modified to create a unique look. Rocker-panel moldings enhance the low-to-the-ground appearance. A bold, brushed aluminum fuel filler door is prominently placed on the quarter panel. Bullitt badging and polished-rolled tailpipe tips further distinguish the car. Bullitt is available in Dark Highland Green, True Blue and Black. The heart of Bullitt GT is a 4.6L SOHC V-8 modified to improve airflow and reduce parasitic loses. It produces at least 270 horsepower and significantly more torque than the Mustang GT engine. Modifications include: Twin 57mm bore throttle body Cast aluminum intake manifold High flow mufflers for increased power and aggressive performance sound Optimized alternator and pump pulley ratios Bullitt's suspension translates this power into crisp road manners. The vehicle is lowered three-fourths of an inch to generate a firmer, better-balanced ride and improved handling characteristics. The performance-handling package includes: Re-valved Tokico struts and shocks Unique stabilizer bars (front and rear) Frame rail connectors Thirteen-inch Brembo front rotors and performance calipers provide excellent stopping capability.

What was?? The Bullitts??? I think everyone knew they had a few extra horses, seeing as Ford made that known. As well as a better handling package, a different intake, and some cosmetic differences, but Ford didn't hide any of this.

He could I guess. We used to argue about cars back & forth because he always loved Ford, and I was a Chevy & Dodge guy. It was all in good fun though.
