rear seat belt removal


whats the best way to remove the seat belts? i am getting rid of the rear seat and components to start over fresh

i have already removed the rear seat, both amps ( mach 460 ) and rear speakers.

its a 1999 gt vert.

torx bit, can't recal the size- 56 or something along that line, and a lot of umph to remove the lower belt clip strap and the lower connection. You must remove the quater glass inner panel to gain access to remove the other interior trim in the rear seat area to access the securing of the other half of the belt. the top just unbolts with a smaller size bit

I removed the seats and all last year, but it was last year and I dont recal the size.... Just get a torx bit and a long leverege socket so you can break those bitches free

To get mine off in a 98 GT I had to use a torx bit in a ratchet with a breaker bar. Sometimes they can be in there pretty good.
