Used short throw
I'm gonna look at a used mgw this weekend and wanted to know what to look at/for? I dont really know anything so any help would be great. I found install instructions on the web so I kinda have an idea of what i need.

you can buy a brand new one for 175. I mean if the 75 is that big a deal I guess if it looks in good shape go for it but honestly I would go for the brand new one bro. better safe than sorry.

Nothing wrong with a used shifter. Make sure it's not all chipped up or looks like it's be out of the car and being thrown around his garage. Make sure it's not dusty or dirty. You don't want dirt in your shifter. Since it is broken in you can see how well it goes from gear to gear. If it seems like it sticks I wouldn't do it if I were you.
