It should, but why would you want to waste money on a catback thats still restrictive??? Your better off just saving up for a good quality aftermarket catback bro.

i knew people would think that....whats happening is my buddy is working on his friends mach 1 and is replacing his flowmaster catback with a 3" catback with bullit race mufflers.....so he said that he will let me have the flow catback for free as long as it will fit

I still don't know if I would waste the time to put it on, because it's not going to really sound any different or anything, but it's your car, so do it if you want.

I know that, but I am just saying, it's kind of a waste of time, considering you arn't gonna see any noticeable changes in noise or power. So it kinda defeats the purpose of installing it imo.

Actually the Mach cat-back is different from a GT. It will sound a little deeper and a little more aggresive. I'd say it's worth it since it's free

Plus, if I remember right the tips are designed a little different and I think they look better.

My bad, I read it wrong. I thought he was talking about a stock Mach 1 catback. So yea, he'll get a little more noise, but not much. Flowmasters are a bit quiet imo.

It's going on a 2V though, so it won't have the more aggressive sound anymore. And he might even lose more backpressure with it, than a GT catback usually does.

It should fit and it should sound fine. It will not be any deeper or louder than any other 2V Mustang with Flows. Free is the best kind of catback to have.

yeah and ive got headers and a midpipe coming in a few weeks so it will compliment the catback pretty nicely

Good luck getting the whole catback on, considering the stock is in 1 piece.

I have no idea what he is talking about. Everyone knows the stock catback has to be cut off, but the aftermarket catbacks come in sections.
