Was just getting off the highway tonight and the car dies on me. When I came to a stop I started the car right back up and went on my way. Any ideas what could of caused this? Its a 99 GT. Thanks Frank

It has 95k miles on it. I just replaced the air filter, cleaned the IAC out. Just had an oil change. Dunno what would cause that.

Has the fuel filter or plugs ever been changed?

Id start there, and run some good fuel injector cleaner through it, i reccomend BG 44k or Lucas injector cleaner.

mine does that if i push in the clutch and let it coast for a little bit. i had a problem with it doing it when i stopped, but it was the iac hose.

Mine comes close if I spend too much time riding the clutch in heavy traffic, letting go of the clutch in neutral and the rpms' drop too low. Also, A/C and heat will hurt your idle also.
