I think there is a clip at the bottom of the fastener with a little plastic clip for wires try unhooking that maybe it'll solve your problem.

Is there any reason for such childish behavior? Such nonsense is really a character flaw as an individual. If we really want to make this one of the best sites on the net, it would be nice if everyone acted maturely & responsibly. We need to make this an informative site that others turn to for answers. Opinions are fine, but when it turns personal with responses of name calling, profanity and belittling of others, it degrades this site as well other people.

I also would like to locate the chime bell and disconnect it. It's not the seat belt issue, it's when the doors are open or listening to the radio that it bothers me. I really don't want to disconnect the sensor at the seat, but rather the chime itself.

I had to get my buddy (who's a Ford master tech) with a Ford PDA to turn it off for me. It takes about 2 minutes but you have to know somebody with one.
