Will I have to get a new head unit with the 2 10's. Or will it be fine?

no man, i got the mach 460 system too, and i got 2 almani 12's and an amp, and i stay using the stock head unit, i didnt change anything, because the stock system is a great system, i only added the 2 12's with an amp, u only need to get an in-line converter to hook it up to the stock deck, which is like 20 bucks

I really have no clue about car audio, i'm just making sure when I go to get it put in, they dont try and say I need a new hu or something. I'm just going to find some Jl audios, or kickers one or the other and get 2 10's of em, and have a decent amp with em. Then I plan on making a custom fiberglass box for em. Does anyone know how to make those boxeS??

Its pretty easy if you know what you're doing ... Build the box .. frame the enclosure opening .. lay some base cloth material .. layer it on ..sand it .. fill it .. sand it .. prime it .. spray it ..

As far as the head unit goes .... you should always use an aftermarket head unit if you want to be able to totally control your system ..

The stock HU is decent, but if you want to build a system go aftermarket.

Circuit City carries the adapter/harness you need to install an aftermarket head unit to the Mach system. Plug and play. Don't try and use the Wal Mart p.o.s.

The stock 6 Disc Cd Changer Mach 460, is crap imo. Cd's always get stuck, and it's ugly too. Just buy a nice aftermarket Headunit, preferably Alpine or Eclipse, but Pioneer, Panasonic, JVC, and Rockford Fosgate, make decent Headunits for cheap. Then buy a aftermarket Cd Changer from one of those companys, and you can get it in 6, 10, 12 or even higher for more money. Good Luck!
