Best clutch for bolt on's

My car is a 2002 GT with the 3650. Only mods are a tri-ax and cut off muffs. I only plan on small bolt ons. Mybe a shot of NOS, but nothing big. It is now time for a new clutch. What is the best clutch for this app. and with the tranns out what are some good mods to do. And $ is on the small side,,,,, have not won the lotto yet!!!!!!!!

I wouldnt go crazy, a stage one or two should be more than fine. I would suggest NOT getting the King cobra. Just my opinion. Others might disagree. I have it now and it hasnt lasted too long ( im at the track alot with DR's )

I now have a Spec Stage 1.... havent installed. But its waiting until i can find time.

I have heard good things about it. I posted up a question like youres and my feedback was.... Spec..... RAM.... or Centerforce.

the centerforce dual-friction clutch isn't a bad route either. i have heard nothing but great things about it. the same goes for the spc and the Mccloud clutches.

Spec is the way I will go. What about mods. I was thinking flywheel, but I do not have the $ for a super light one, also the steeda cable, quadrent, and fire wall adj. FRPP drive shaft. I only have the $ for 2 of the mods. What would yall go for. And is there any thing I am missing. Is this the best time to do the rear main, I know it is on the 5.0.

Well, i have a 98 and my rear main was dry as a.... well its to late for that stuff. anyways.. it was dry and i didnt replace it. As you stated... my old 5.0 both times i changed the clutch i put new rear mains in it. haha.

I would do Spec clutch and clutch kit from www.mustangtuning.com. Get the quad, cable and firewall adjuster ( i just bought the quad and cable ) its youres for 99.95 shipped. Good deal to me. No need for another flywheel... because youre not going to have serious amounts of hp. Also the driveshaft is useless IMO.

i run a spec stage 3 and it would be way to much for your app, but i would suggest a spec 1

if you want the feel of the stock pedal with a strong clutch then go with the centerforce, it takes no pressure to push the pedal down and it will take some abuse.
