Handling question?

With the suspension upgrades available to our cars, will they ever run with the good handling cars, porsches, etc.?

Probably not. Those cars are so much lighter, with rear mounted engines, ect.

Lets put it this way, every car is made from the factory with certain performance standards in mind for it's class. Now if you want to remove yourself to a higher class, then you just need money, and then the world of aftermarket modifications will take you wherever you wanna go.

Ya, you do have a car, so handling aint as bad as your truck, unless you drive a new Tundra, which handles better out of all trucks, and a lot of cars. But anyways, you Mustang can, handle, but it aint no porsche, or w/e those sissys are.

The Mustang has won over 15 Trans Am championships, over 12 SCCA National Championships and 7 World Challenge championships. It has also won 11 IMSA championships and over 5 times the 24 Hours of Daytona winner in its' class. All in road racing

My 04 is completely setup for road racing with Eibachs, Sway Bars, Bump steer kit, Cobra front & rear brakes and 18x9 1/2 wheels & tires. The Ferrari Club rolls thru my town the last Sunday of every month. No our Stangs will never be Ferarri, but mine is quick, nimble & ton of fun...

The problem with the Mustang it's the weight distribution thanks to the heavy engine, however, Ford is doing a better job on that. My GT does NOT handle as good as my old Lincoln LS which had perfect 50/50 distribution. Having said that, has anyone one of you driven a newer Roush? Those things handle in perfection. The Mustang can be bettered in that area, but to compare it to a 6 digit priced exotic.... Drop the level of the competition and it will be a more fair battle.
