ratchet wrenches will be great, espcially the ones with the angled end. swivel joint, swivel sockets, jacks, couple pry bars, and beer. the drivers sid i could get to all the top bolts of the header from the top. the bottom drivers side isnt to bad. you will have to pull the steering shaft. the passenger side was the hard side. i removed the motor mount completely off the motor so i could get to the bolts. i also dropped the k a little bit to help too.

I also dropped the starter on the pass side. It helped a little bit. I dropped the whole K-member..but I also had a shop and lift to work with. Stud extracters would also be a good tool to have, to remove the studs from the heads. The header install was a lot easier than I thought it would be. As long as you have half a brain you can do it. Good luck!

you don't ned the stud extractors because they tend to gaul the threads, unless you are getting new bolts then got for it. GO TO WALMART and get an 8in adjustable open-end wrench then cut most of the handle off for the egr tube!!
