Exhaust popping

So with my slp lm2's i get alot of popping when i let off the throttle, will a good tune fix that, or is that just how they are or what? i dont mind the sound of it, but if i get an offroad midpipe or headers assumably it would just make it worse, so yeah, help lol.

A tune should fix it, but i'm not sure by how much after you swap out for an O/R mid-pipe.

O/R they will both still do it, but the X has a tendacy to do it more than the H.

when ppl say a tune could fix that, does that basically mean that the A/F is running rich and the tune will just adjust the A/F ratio?

yeah. when you let off the throttle, therisn't enough air to burn off the rest of the fuel, so it passes through to the exhaust and burns off there. on a catted midpipe, the cats help to burn off unburnt or partially unburnt fuel. something about being better for the environment or some crap like that....
