I got quoted 950$ to install struts, shocks, springs, and upper and lower control arms. For that much i said fuck it, ill learn how to install it all myself, but does that actually sound like a decent quote?

It's a little high, too high. Did you shop around in the speed shops or is that a quote from like sears or midas?

That was one of the speed shops i talked to. What he basically did is figured how many hours each task would take and multiplied that by his basic rate, which came up to 950$. But since the tasks overlap the actual final charge might be lower.
I get 20% off labor at a local ford dealership though so I'm gonna see what they say, but it'll probably be higher anyways knowing them. (and I would never take the car to a sears or midas, lol)

Good. Honestly, with a spring compressor, it would be a snap.
