Throttle body help


well i got my gt and i just put a 3000 stall. pretty soon ima go get it dyno tuned but first i need a new throttle body. theres currently 2 out for mine. its either a bbk 62 mm dual bore or a ford oem 65mm shelby gt500 throttle body. what do u guys think would be better? theres a 200 dollar price difference so i wouldnt want the shelby one if the benefits wont be woth it. what do u guys think?

Honestly you would be better off keeping your money and using it towards something else.
9 out of 10 people have nothing but trouble with the throttle bodies for the 2005+ since is drive by wire. And your gains will not be that noticable.
Just to let you know, I do have an 06 GT and I do have the BBK version, it takes a few attempts at indexing the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) to get it right and not get the "wrench light" or have it go into fail safe mode.
So far I have been lucky and have had no problems, but the $ Vs. HP gain are not worth it.

yeah, i've heard a lot of people have problems with aftermarket tb's for the new stangs because of the drive by wire.
